SF Blue Tech events and happy hours bring together ocean and coastal stewards, oceanographers, scientists, ocean AI and machine learning experts, sailors and maritime tradesmen, ocean NGOs, plus blue tech professionals seeking to learn, network and share ideas that inspire action to help our planet, ocean and waterways.
We welcome guests who are employed within, or aligned to, the blue tech industry, such as ocean science students and educators, coastal and estuary professionals, civic leaders and citizens, plus philanthropic and investment stewards.

Climate tech events in San Francisco are held monthly at South Beach Yacht Club (SBYC), located aside SF Giants stadium. We meet on the second Thursday of the month, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Our ocean tech happy hours feature one or more top notch industry speakers, a modestly priced meal deal, and no-host bar. SBYC is a private club, so all guests are required to pre-register and check-in at the door.

The aim of this group is to assist each other develop and advance ocean technologies, plus support and implement technologies to restore and regenerate San Francisco Bay.
We strive for solicitation-free conversations where guests are not pressured. Therefore, no pitching or selling of business support products or services are permitted, nor competing entities or groups.
We welcome companies and individuals (private and public) who can aid our member companies secure grant, loan, financing and investment for business growth.
