SF Blue Tech events and happy hours bring together ocean and coastal stewards, oceanographers, scientists, ocean AI and machine learning experts, sailors and maritime tradesmen, ocean NGOs plus, blue tech professionals seeking to learn, network and share resources and ideas that inspire action which helps our planet, oceans and waterways.

We welcome guests who are employed within, or aligned to, the blue tech industry, including ocean science students and educators, coastal and estuary restoration professionals, civic leaders and citizens.

Climate tech events are hosted monthly in San Francisco at South Beach Yacht Club, which is located aside SF Giants stadium. We meet on the second Thursday of the month, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Most events feature a modestly priced meal deal. The venue offers a no-host bar. Advance registration requested; check our website for information.

The aim of this group is to assist each other develop and advance ocean technologies.

Whereas we recognize the need for tech start up support services, such as website development, marketing and public relations, this is not the place to promote those services. We strive for solicitation-free conversations where guests are not pressured. Therefore, no pitching or selling of support products or services are permitted. We welcome companies and individuals (private and public) who are seeking to support our members’ financial development and business growth.
