ROV Tour
Chien likes to build underwater learning tools–especially submersible drones, AKA remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). Active in the DIY/maker community of builders, his mission is to create and share with young learners. He has displayed at science events hosted by the Marine Science Institute, STEM Frenzy Festival, Tri-Valley Innovation Fair and more. Chien recognizes the importance of engaging and educating youth to better prepare for the future. He will co-lead the robotics industry vertical.
He has worked as a CRM system administration and data analyst for San Francisco Bay Area firms such as Xoom and PRN, plus various gig economy jobs. In 2020, he stepped into an entrepreneurial role launching his business, ROV TOUR, LLC., an educational company which focuses on teaching youths the basics of building ocean submersibles.
