SF Blue Tech Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct

SF Blue Tech operates the SF Blue Tech website and produces events for the blue economy.


Code of Ethics

The aim of SF Blue Tech tech is to assist one another in developing and advancing technologies and services. Our gatherings are for solicitation-free conversations where guests are not pressured. As such, no pitching or selling of product, service, membership or competing event or service is permitted.

Code of Conduct

SF Blue Tech is committed to fostering a supportive, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, physical ability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, age, race, national origin, ethnic origin, nationality, immigration status, language, economic power, religion or lack thereof, party affiliation or level of political involvement, or other identity marker.

We reserve the right to deny access to our events to individuals who have been determined to have acted inappropriately.

Reporting Code of Conduct Violations

If you are being harassed by a member or guest, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please email us. At our discretion under the most extreme conditions we may:

  • publicly name a person(s) about whom we’ve received harassment complaints
  • privately warn third parties about this person(s)

if we believe that doing so will increase the safety of our members or the general public.

We will not name harassment victims.

Our Limit of Responsibility

By attending one of our events, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and at your own risk. The event organizers, hosts, sponsors, participating and/or supporting vendors, as well as venue assume no liability for personal injury, lost/stolen belongings or any other damages incurred at the event.

Photos, Videos, Audio

​​By attending, you grant the event organizers and affiliated entities the right to capture, use and distribute photos, videos and/or audio recordings of you for promotional, marketing and other lawful purposes. This includes but is not limited to, digital and print media, advertising and social media. You waive any right to inspect or approve the final materials and release all claims related to their use. ​​

By registering, you agree to be added to our email list; you may unsubscribe at any time. ​Organizers and sponsors use the information you provide to contact you about relevant content and events; you can unsubscribe from communications at any time. *​​If the Event Attendee does not agree to this Important Notice to Guests, the Event Attendee should not attend the event.

Changes to our Policies

We may update our policy from time to time. Thus, we advise members to review this page periodically for changes.
