SF Blue Tech hosts both free to attend and fee-based events. Except under extraordinary circumstances, fees to attend SF Blue Tech happy hour events are non-refundable.

*As of April 30, 2025, transactions processed on the SF Blue Tech website include event, registration and transaction processing fees in the total published event price. For event listed and processed on third party sites, such as Lu.ma, additional fees/costs will be noted.

third party online event platforms

SF Blue Tech relies on various third party online event management and payment platforms, such as Stripe, Ecwid, Lu.ma, etc.

These online payment processing platforms
assess a variety of fees (usually a credit card processing fee and a platform fee), which immediately results in a charge to SF Blue Tech each time an approved guest makes a reservation. In the extraordinary instance where we do refund a guest, please know that SF Blue Tech is unable to refund third party payment processing fees.

A. For credit card payments, processing fees generally start at .029% + .30 per transation.

B. SF Blue Tech also uses combined online registration and payment platforms, such as Lu.ma. Each time an approved guest registers on the Lu.ma platform, Lu.ma immediately assesses a non-refundable platform transaction fee (approximately 5%), plus a payment processsing fee (item A. above). We are unable to reverse Lu.ma platform use and payment processing fees.
