Agenda
XPRIZE Guest
New! Special guest from XPRIZE will explain how to enter new XPRIZE Water Scarcity challenge. This is a $119 million, 5-year global competition to drive widespread access to clean water by creating reliable, sustainable and affordable seawater desalination systems.
Show and Tell
Have a product, demo or slide deck to share? Bring what you need to show and tell guests, but email us if it’s bigger than a breadbox. We reserve the right to disallow anything that is not quite in keeping with the blue tech mission.
Networking
Open networking for the entire evening. Bring a name tag and load up your LinkedIn QR code. This mixer is for employees, founders, students, educators, non-profits within the blue economy. Lighting round intros will happen at approximately 6pm.Â
Member Spotlight
Learn what local blue tech start up Dear Ocean has been working on, and how the founder found a key team member at an SF Blue Tech meeting last fall.Â
Give and Take
New! This is a community which supports the ocean and one another. That said, let’s foster more action through better connection. What can you GIVE? What would you like to TAKE? Add comments to the Big Blue List that evening.
