SF Blue Tech events and happy hours bring together ocean and coastland stewards, scientists, sailors and maritime tradesmen, plus blue tech professionals who wish to network, share resources and ideas that further inspire action to help our planet, oceans and waterways.

Our events are for individuals employed within, or aligned to, the blue tech industry, ocean science students and educators, coastal and estuary restoration professionals and members of the maritime trade. Events are hosted in and around San Francisco. Most gatherings happen mid-week from 5 to 7:30pm.

guest verification and no sales or solicitations

The aim of this group is to assist one another develop and advance technologies. We request that guests sign-up in advance and provide verification of work or participation within the blue economy or related industries.

Whereas we recognize the need for support industries, such as website development, marketing and public relations services, this is not the place to promote those services. We strive for solicitation-free conversations where guests are not pressured. Therefore, absolutely no pitching or selling of product or service, nor fundraising, is allowed.

*If any event guest feels that this request has not been respected, please inform us; that individual or company will no longer be permitted to attend SF Blue Tech events.

We reserve the right to refuse registrants we deem to be not a fit.
